SiteSticky is not limited to basic ("oh so early 90's") Text chat, SiteSticky
offers the state of art in Web based Voice chat. SiteSticky Voice
chat works across the web browsers, it is of the highest quality (near Telephone
quality even when people are on dial up modem) and it is 1 to 1.
Imagine being able to offer your chat room visitors the option of engaging
in not just basic text chat but able to engage in advanced Voice over IP
chat. How much more valuable will that make your chat site? How much more
"Sticky" will that make your community?
Certainly far more valuable and "Sticky" than offering simple text chat.
And best of all to use SiteSticky Voice chat one does not need to download and install
a 3rd party software, as other Voice chat systems require, a requirement which results in
most people not using your chat room, SiteSticky Voice chat is instantaneous across
web browsers, that is all the person needs to take advantage of
your SiteSticky Voice chat is their web browser*.
SiteSticky voice chat fire wall enabled
SiteSticky Voice chat can be made to go through Fire walls
or Proxys. This requires special additional software to be installed beside
the main SiteSticky chat system, an optional additional installation that is provided by NetDIVE.
SiteSticky voice - full duplex
As if near Telephone quality Voice chat was not enough, the latest release of
SiteSticky chat system offers Full-duplex voice. That is users in your SiteSticky
chat rooms can engage in hands free Voice communication, nearly as if they
were talking via the phone. And to enable Full-duplex voice chat could not be
easier, you simply designate a room on your SiteSticky chat room to be
Full-duplex mode when creating/editing it by checking a single check box.
SiteSticky voice - peer to peer
If you are concerned about SiteSticky Voice chat consuming too much bandwidth,
and thus it is a cost that you do not want to incur, you can designate your
SiteSticky chat room(s)
to be not Voice chat fire wall enabled. You simply do this by checking a check
box when creating/editing a room. In which case your rooms will be peer-to-peer
Voice enabled, in which case the voice chat will go from user to user and
not through server and thus will cost you non in bandwidth. Of course the disadvantage
of this is that most people now a days are behind Firewalls or Proxys so in case
of peer-to-peer Voice being engaged, they will not be able to engage in Voice chat.

Please note:
- There is no cost to you or your users at all, when talking in Voice
via NetDIVE VoIP solutions, no matter where in the world you or users are located.
Except of course what you pay for your Internet connection.
- Not all Voice chat capabilities of SiteSticky are available in SiteSticky service. They are
all available in SiteSticky software.
- * Client web browsers needs to have Java 1.1 Virtual machine installed.
An item that is in 98% of the web browser currently in use. The user also
needs to have a sound card and speaker/mike (or headset).
- Voice chat capability is not a feature that all users will be able
to partake in, and it is not a feature that we guarantee, nor can any other VoIP solution. However
all our studies and feedback has indicated that NetDIVE VoIP is easiest to use and leads the market
in dependability. In fact most people report that they get better Voice quality through NetDIVE Voice
over IP solutions than through the regular Telephone, specially when talking over seas - still VoIP is not for everyone.
- If you would like we can implement, under a Professional Services contract,
a pay per use feature to the Voice over IP that you will be offering to your users via
your SiteSticky chat offering. This specially would be appropriate in case of
offering Full Duplex Fire wall enabled Voice which SiteSticky enables you
to offer.
