Since we started giving our software products away for free we are frequently asked this question, "How can Netdive all of a sudden afford to give its software products away for free and only charge a small fee for their Support?"
The answer is that in fact we cannot afford to do so, that is we actually lose money on most sales of Support. Specially sale of Support with low number of Seats. However, the sale of Professional Services and Enterprise class development provides us with the margins that allows us to cover the losses we incur from giving our products away for free and just charging a small fees for their Support.
