CallSite Overview & Screen Shots



Overview

CallSite software system is written in Java, both on the client and the server sides. On the client side, when the client is Web based (an applet), it is developed in Java 1.01 to ensure the most cross platform operation and thus usage by 99% of Web users. On the server side the software system can run with Java 1.2 or Java 1.3 and as a result either on Microsoft sever Operating Systems or Unix Operating systems such as Linux. CallSite can be connected to any SQL compatible database via provided JDBC bridge. CallSite is massively scalable, able to handle 250 Agent to customer live discussions on a single average size server. Unlike other live chat solutions CallSite is not a simple text chat between customer and Agents, it offers advanced and highly productivity enhancing communication features such as Voice communication, Application sharing, White board sharing, etc. - that no other (cross platform) live chat solution provides.

CallSite Server
 
  This is the heart of the CallSite system, handling all calling and subsequent communication between the Agents and the Callers. As well as any data transfer, via JDBC, with the data residing in SQL compatible databases. As well as any communication with Servlets for dynamic generation of Web pages. The CallSite Server system must reside on a machine with Internet connection and also hosting an HTTP Web server (any HTTP web server will do).


CallSite Agent application
 
 
TheCallSite Agent application resides on the Agent's computer. It is at all time listening for incoming calls and monitoring the Web site visitors via the LiveTrax. The Agent application is packed with communication and control features to allow the Agent to have Secure and Multimedia communication with the caller while at all time the communication being completely under the Agents control. The Agent application is completely cross platform, running on Windows, as well as Mac & Linux. Although Voice will only work on Windows.

CallSite Call buttons
 
 
CallSite call button is a tiny Java program (applet) that becomes the call button inside your Web pages for your customers to instantly call your Agents. Or these call buttons will allow you through the LiveTrax technology of CallSite to monitor the activities of your Website visitors in real time for your Agents to pro-actively call the customers to offer them live support or to sell to them. CallSite call buttons. CallSite call buttons can be directly connected to one Agent or via the call routing engine of CallSite can be connected to any number of Agents.

The Voice Communication system
 
 
NetDIVE's pioneering and market leading Web based Voice over IP technology is integrated into CallSite to enable instant Voice over IP communication between callers and Agents of your company, wherever in the world that they may be, in Telephone quality (or better) Voice. The Voice over IP technology of CallSite is Web based (a signed applet) when between the web caller and the Agent and it is an application when between the Agent and Agent. CallSite's Voice over IP communication will perform on a peer-to-peer basis when no Fire-Walls or Proxies are present with the callers. Otherwise it will be server based via a servlet so that it can go through any Fire-Walls. CallSite Voice over IP results in excellent voice quality, on Internet connections of as low as 33.8 Kbit/sec because it requires only about 21 Kbit/Sec of bandwidth to deliver better than most Telephone quality voice.

CallSite Admin application
 
 

This is the Web based program (a signed applet) that allows the administrator of your CallSite to easily manage the CallSite system. Via user friendly GUI interfaces which are accessible via any Web browser, the Admin of your CallSite system can completely Admin your CallSite system:

  • create, edit, delete Agents
  • set call routing
  • set the look and feel of the call buttons
  • create the HTML code for a new call button
  • etc.
