Speakers
You can designate certain people accessing a Web conference on
your eAuditorium to be Speakers. For example the Professor teaching a class,
an instructor conducting a training class, etc.
To designate a person as a Speaker you simply check the Speaker mark when creating their Username & Password.
Speakers have additional rights over audience members, such as:
- Being on the stage so immune from having their messages Moderated
- Able to control the Plug-ins, such as the Whiteboard
- Able to talk with other Speakers via a Private (Green) room
- etc.
You can have a Web conference via your eAuditorium without Speaker(s).
In fact most Web conferences via your eAuditorium will only require a Moderator
and the participants.
Speaker(s) are an optional aspect of eAuditorium which are useful in case of
large events when one or more people are to speak to the Audience and thus
Moderator should naturally have less control over them.
