Moderator is the person at your company who has total control over a meeting
through your eAuditorium. Since Moderator has total control of the web
meeting, her eAuditorium User Interface ("UI") is full of buttons/features, a screen
shot of which is displayed below.
Moderator, like all the other participants in an eAuditorium based meeting,
needs only a Web browser to attend the meeting with even a 56 Kb/Sec modem being
sufficient for their Internet connection speed, although of course the higher
the bandwith of the Moderator connection the better.
Examples of Moderator controls over a meeting are:
- Moderator decides who can talk freely via Text messaging. Or who will have
their messages 1st sent to the Moderator for editing before their message is
displayed to all others to see (on the stage).
- Moderator decides who has control of the Voice conferencing Microphone ("Mike").
The person given control of the Mike will then be able to speak and all others in
the eAuditorium conference room will only be able to listen this person. Moderator can
at any time take control of the Mike back and give it to someone else.
- Moderator decides who has control of the Application Sharing. The person given
control of the Application Sharing will then be able to share any application from
their desk top with others in the meeting. Moderator can
at any time take control of the Application Sharing back and give it to someone else.
- Moderator can launch the White Board and load onto it any documents she wants
and can decide whether to give access to the White Board to the Speakers and/or the Audience or not.
- Moderator can launch the Live Auction and to set all the aspects of such an auction
in real time and control it in real time.
- Moderator can close the eAuditorium doors, so that no one else can enter it, or she can
Kick, Ban, etc. anyone on the fly.
- Plus Much more, resulting in the Moderator being able to completely control a
Web based meeting via eAuditorium, resulting in the most organized, productivity enhancing
and user friendly web based meetings.
