Application Sharing
Application Sharing is the ability to share the same application in real time, whether the application is a Web browser, a Spreadsheet, a Drawing or any other 3rd party software. And sharing means being able to see and affect the application that is on someone else's desktop as if it is on ones own desktop. As a result the most valuable feature of any Web conferencing solution is the Application Sharing feature. Because the ability to share an application between a group of people in real time is something that cannot be done via the Phone, Fax, Email, or any other mode of communication but via a PC with Internet connection with the large display terminal (real estate) needed to view the application being shared.

application on their desktop with every body else in

their desk top to anyone else in the the meeting room. Hence

Docked & Un-Docked Application Sharing window & controlled by presenter
Another aspect of eAuditorium Application sharing that makes it the best is the ability for
the users to click on a button to Un-dock the Application sharing window from the main
eAuditorium User Interface (UI), after which they can resize the display area of the Un-Docked
display window to suite their terminal size & resolution.
Please note:
- Application sharing is not supported in Apple Mac, although most report that it works Ok
on Mac, we do not officially support it on Mac.
- * Only thing a person needs to partake in eAuditorium Application sharing is a Web browser
that is Java VM 1.1 (or later) enabled.
- eAuditorium Application sharing is not suitable for multi-media type applications,
that is applications that play audio or display Video. To share a Video or Audio please use the
Web Tour feature of eAuditorium.
- Application sharing may not work for all users due to the high demand that it places on
the users PC, if the users PC is underpowered or is affected by Viruses, etc.
