How to use all of the White Board features:

The toolbar displays the various available options: free hand drawing, straight line drawing, circle, square, star, octagon, or type (print).

Special Options for White Board:

Background Image: You can load images (i.e., Power Point, Schematics, Maps, Spread sheets, etc.) that have been converted to gif/jpg into the White board. You can either choose to load the pre-loaded centralized images as background images in your White board or you can choose to add your own personal background images. In order to load an image in the white board, highlight the name of the Background Image list and then click on "Show selected". If you want to remove the loaded image from the background, click on "Clear". The background will be cleared and then you can load other images in the background if you wish. In case you want to add a new image to the list, click on the button "Add an image". The following window will show up:

You can then choose the desired image file from your computer by highlighting its name and click "Open". This new image will be included in your background images list.
    In case you want to delete an image from the Background Images List, highlight the name of that image in the list and click on the "Delete Selected" button. A prompt will appear asking you if you really want to delete this image file from the list. Upon acceptance, the image will be deleted from the background images list.
    You can also save the image that is displayed by the other user in the Whiteboard as a bitmap file. For doing so, click on the button "Save as bitmap..." while the image is still there in the whiteboard. You will then see the following window displayed in your computer:

You can then save the image file as a bitmap with a .bmp extension.

Type: You can change type color, font, and size. To change color, change the Outline Color (link to outline color section below). To change font, enter the text then click Ctrl + F until you find the font you want, and click "Enter" to send the text to the White Board. To change size, enter text then click Ctrl + U to increase font size or Ctrl + D to decrease font size, and click "Enter" to send it to the WB.

Stars: You can increase or decrease the number of branches in your stars. First click the Star icon on the toolbar, then increase or decrease the number of branches by using the "+" or "-" key from your numeric keypad.

Background Color: To clear the background and/or change the background color of the White Board, click the Background color box. A pop up window appears where you can select a color, or "mix" a color using the sliding color control on the right side. Click "Ok" and the background will clear, leaving a clear board with your selected background color.

Fill Color: To change the color that fills in the outline of shapes (circle, star, etc.), click the Fill colored box. A pop up window appears where you can select a color, or "mix" a color using the sliding color control on the right side. Click "Ok", and this color will appear as the fill-in color for shapes you send into the White Board.

Outline Color: To change the color of type, free hand drawing, straight line drawing, and the outline of shapes, click the Outline colored box. A pop up window appears where you can select a color, or "mix" a color using the sliding color control on the right side. Click "Ok", and this color will appear as the outline color for type, drawings, and shapes that you send into the White Board.
