File Sharing

To send a file to a customer, you must be in a CallSite session with him/her. When you transfer a file, it can be opened with a viewer installed in your computer. Thus you can open different types of files like MP3, movies, power point, sounds, images, word, text etc.

First, click the 'Send a file' button, located directly beneath the voice communication button on the Communication window Toolbar. The 'Send a file' browser will open, where you browse for and select the file you want to send, either by double clicking the file or highlight it and clicking 'Open'.

Your customer will be prompted to accept or reject the file you are sending:

Upon acceptance, the file will be downloaded into the recipeint's 'downloaded' directory. The 'downloaded' directory is located in the CallSite directory in your Program Files. To open the file, simply click on the link that appears in the private chat window saying that the file has been downloaded and that you can view the file now. You can view the file with the help of a viewer installed in your computer.
