Section: V. E Broadcast Messages in your CallSite You can broadcast live (real time) messages to your CallSite Agents by using the 'Messages' panel. To access the 'Messages' panel, click on the 'Messenger Admin' tab. In the new window that opens up, click on the 'Messages' tab. The following interface will open up:
The 'Messages' panel is divided into the following sections:
(1) Send (broadcast) messages The functions of these sections have been explained below:
(1) Send (broadcast) messages: This section allows you to choose whether you want to broadcast URLs, text/image messages or scrolling text messages from the following three sections either to all the connected CallSite Agents or to selected CallSite Agents. You will need to choose between either of the two by clicking on the appropriate radio button. In case you choose to broadcast messages to selected CallSite Agents, you can edit your list of selected Agents by clicking on the radio button 'selected users...' and then clicking on the 'Edit' button. (2) Send a URL to connected Agents: You can send a URL to the connected CallSite Agents. In order to do so, type a valid URL in the 'URL' field and click 'Send'. You could also locally check the validity of the URL that you have typed in the 'URL' field by clicking on the 'Check' button after typing the URL in the 'URL' field. (3) Send a text/image to the connected Agents: You can send a text or image message to the connected CallSite Agents. In case of a text message, you can specify the color, font, properties (Bold, Italics or Underlined messages) and size of the text message that you want to broadcast. Once you have set the Font right, just type the text message in the field 'Text' and click 'Send'. In order to broadcast image messages, you should specify the URL of the image in the field 'Image URL' and click 'Send'.
(4) Send a scrolling text message: You can send a scrolling text messages to the connected CallSite Agents. You can even specify the color of the scrolling text message that you want to broadcast by clicking on the 'Text color' button and then choosing your appropriate color. Then you should type the text message in the field 'Text' and in the field 'Link URL', you can specify the URL of the web page which will open up when your CallSite Agents click on this scrolling text message. You can now either locally check the message by clicking on the 'Check' button or broadcat the message by clicking on the 'Send' button. |
